Question about Car Audio & Video
I just installed my avh p3100dvd abd it is stuck on mute, i cannot get the mute off... it will play for a few minutes just fine... but then it automatically goes to mute and stays that way until I turn off the car and turn it back on again?
I am also having the same problem as Larry and Michael. I just installed the 3300bt two days ago and all was fine until tonight I was watching a DVD and the following occurred:
It muted for 2 seconds. Then un-muted for 2 seconds. Then was stuck on mute. The only way I was able to clear it was to hold the "source" button down on the remote to send the stereo into "demo" mode. After I let it sit in demo mode for about 30 seconds I pressed source again on the remote and the radio began functioning properly again for about another minute or two. Then it happened again. I repeated this process a total of 8 times until I just gave up and decided to search the internet for a solution. At least now I know I didn't hook up anything wrong since I see others with this same problem. It's a great unit so far, but there are a lot of features and it's not extremely user friendly. Any help in fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Larry, did you ever get this fixed? I just installed the avh-3300bt and I'm having the same problem.

Check the telephone mute cable is not grounded to the chasis as that would mute it.
