Pink colour I have a bush 28inch tv but recently the colour has went pink, you still get picture etc but all the colour is pink. Is there anyway to fix this and if so can you give me an estimate on the price? Thanks

Have you tried set-up on the remote? Do that choose picture and adjust the brightness.

Please check your Blue and Red component cables on both the recorder and your TV. One is probably loose.

It sounds like you have magnetised the screen by placing something magnetic too close.

Your only hope is to unplug the TV, and remove ANYTHING magnetic away from it, such as speakers etc. Give it a few hours then retry.
If this has been going on some time, it will already be too late.

The other possibility is the tube could be going!

i would have a service tech check out my degaussing coil inside of the tv. hey, that was a great idea to degauss it bravo

Never had that camera, however, had the same problem -- the pink stripe and pink cast. Turns out the lens cover was slightly cracked and not opening and closing properly. Thus -- the pink cast.

if ur tv is CRT (picture tube) just power OFF it for 20-30 minutes and then power up again. problem will be solved.

Are you getting Green or purple or pink patches all over the screen?
This could be a problem of Degaussing. Have you placed any Magnetic source near the TV recently? Some Tape recorder or walkie talkie or a Speaker, etc? The Magnetic field created by any of the above sources can cause coloured patches over a colour TV screen.
It also happens if you shift the TV from one location to another.

The third possibility is that the Picture Tube's Red Output stage gone faulty. Unless you are a trained Solid state Electronics Technician, there is nothing you can do. Better go for a trade in.

CRT green gun is not working properly , maybe dry soldered or no green drive signal. Pink and red colour is due to missing of green colour.
