No video from new JVC TK-C1480U

if your cameras power supply is connected, ON" the unit connect a B N C to the video out point, the other end connect with the monitors video point.

Not sure if you have done this so give this a try.

* If possible, plug your Starlogic monitor into another working computer. If the Starlogic monitor works then it is the port on the original computer that has gone bad. The solution would be purchasing a new video card such as PCI or AGP video card. (Assuming all other aspects of your PC are working fine)
*However, if the monitor does not work then you know your monitor is dead. You will need to buy a new or used monitor. **You may want to barrow someone's monitor and test your original computer just to make sure the port on that original computer is fine.

I have the same problem with my panasonic palm camcorder, help...

1. Unplug the JVC compact component power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices.
3. Press and hold the JVC compact component power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the JVC compact component power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the JVC compact component
5. Open the menu to confirm that the JVC compact component is responding again.
6. Turn off the JVC compact componentand reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the JVC compact component...

Almost the same problem. HDMI connections good, sound and video through monitor (LCD TV) , but no sound from the JVC unit speakers.

Hi,

Based on your post/description, your power supply is faulty.
1. It your 24VAC adapter/power supply is the original one that came with the camera, then most likely a component failure inside. More often it is the filter capacitor.
2. If it is a replacement, then possibly the ratings are not compatible with the camera, specifically the current or power (Amps or Watts).
3. In some instances the built-in regulator might be shot since your source is 24 but your load rewuires only 12.

Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.
