Color fade and Line problem in LG 15'' CRT monitor ? It becomes ok when i touch CRT monior screen with finger(2-3 times) or with any tool (pechcus) is problem with the Monitor or graphic card in CPU ? where is the problem ?? why this happens ??

Follow the following solutions, this should fix up your trouble
1. Turn yourmonitor on. It should be on for at least 20 minutes before you continue.
2.Press the"Auto/Select" button on the front of your computer's monitor. Thescreen will be wavy while the adjustment happens. When the screen stops beingwavy, the faded colors should no longer be visible.
Follow steps 1 and 2 if you do not have a disk for the monitor.

open the monitor there is a movable preset attached to EHT rotate that preset by screwdriver in active on condition of monitor reduce the brightness to satisfactory level

suggestion: put a filter screen, attach the ground.. that may solve your problem.

how many years back did you buy this monitor because monitors have some life after which they starts creating such type of troubles

in the monitor menu you have degauss
select that option

rainbow colour is normally due to magenatic effect on monitor

 

see that any magnetic thing is near monitor

 

 if it is there remove it

 

.after that put off monitor for 15 minutes & then put on.see if any change is there

 

 if there is any change is there wait for 2 or 3 days it will be ok.

 

if brightness is also less along with fad color then

 

 check for video output section & crt electrodes for normal voltage.

 

it that is also ok then crt is getting weak,

Check the cable for kinks at either end. VGA cables that are bent at a 90degree angle for lon periods of time become damaged. The next step is to remove cable from computer and check the pins for damage. A bent pin from accidental force from inserting and seating connector can catch a pin and contact with another pin or ground. If none of these conditions exist, consider monitor replacement. I would try another monitor to rule out the video card as well.

Is there anything going on in Control Panel, Power Settings? Such as an auto off? Sometimes getting the monitor to come back on after it goes to "sleep" can be tricky. Usually a keyboard stroke works better than mouse movement. It almost sounds like a hardware problem and I would contact the manufacturer and see if it's still under warranty. I'm assuming the PC it is connected to isn't going off?

your problem is in blue color cathode circuit. as you say that it becomes ok tha5t means 1 cable wire is loose from computer to monitor. 2 crt base loose. 3 loose contact in blue video ckt. 4 signal processor cable to crt board connector loose.(blue wire)
