How To Interpret Or Read Nameplate On 3 Phase Motor?

The higher the voltage the lower the amperage, so advantage is its more cost effective to run it at highe voltages since power consumption is I squared x Resistance. The resistance will be the same but the lower the current the less it cost to run it.

I am ssuming this is a 50HZ unit? hence the engine speed with a 4 pole rotor which this has is 1500rpm. I also assume it is not one you are trying to convert from 60HZ to 50HZ? You never said what your countries voltage is? I assume when you say 400V is too high, you are looking at a 380V 3 phase power???

Based on that the engine speed is controlled by the governor control board, and if electronic Isy governor installed can be adkusted with a potentiometer. If youa re trying to slow down a 60HZ unit to 50HZ it won't work as you will get under freq fault.
The voltage is governed by a small AVR PCB in the alternator cover. pos an SX series AVR

I am just a housewife and asking a simple question. - I have bought an bosch eye level double oven HBM13B - I currently only have available a 13 amp plug. retailer is saying i need to upgrade to 20amp from...

For the oven you are describing, you would be wise to upgrade because chances are you have other feeds that draw from the same circuit, that is why the retailer is suggesting running from the junction box with a 20 amp service, this way you will not have to worry blowing the fuse when you are running multiple items.

I think I can help you but i am a bit confused with the panel box and the junction box. If you want to reply explain the circuit in a bit more detail from the switchboard where the fuse is to the back of the oven. It would also be a good idea to have a voltmeter or test lamps handy. Does the double pole breaker do the Active and Neutral or is it 2 phases going through the breaker. Did the wiring used to be for a full range and now there is only the new oven in its place.

thi smay be because of the following reasons.

1.the power window motor is not getting power from the battery. it the wires going to the motor may be chopped off.
2.the relay/junction box to which the motor is connected may be damaged of blown out.
3.the fuse for the power window system nay be blown out.
4.check the supply from the battery to the junction box/realy.if you get the supply to the junctionbox/realy then the problem is with the junction box/realy.if you are not getting the power to junction box/relay then the fault lies inwire coming from the bateery. check the continuity with multimeter.

I need to know which kind of plug is used on this oven so that the electricians can install the right kind of receptacle. Maytag cwe5800acs 24 Double electric wall oven

Your oven needs to be hard wired to a junction box. No plugs on a oven that pulls 30 or more amps 220v Read your install book that came with the oven.

Hello I want to wire my Room Stat which is a HorstmannDRT1 to the Honeywell 10 way Junction box, the problem I face is that the Horstmann has only 2 wires and the Honeywell has got 4 positions for the Room...

If in any doubt, get an electrician or heating engineer to connect it as there is full mains voltage on these connections.
The thermostat will have 3 possible connections. You need the NO and COMM. Ignore the NC.
If the 10 way junction box has four connections, these will be NO, NC, COMM and Earth.
You need to identify the NO and COMM in the junction box and connect them to the corresponding NO and COMM on the thermostat. The DR1 is double insulated so doesnt need to be earthed.
Please make sure youre absolutely certain that you have identified the correct terminals in the junction box - whilst electrically performing the same function, there are many ways to wire up the junction box.
Again, if in any doubt call in an electrician or heating engineer.
