I hooked up the speakers to the back of the PC with the matching green plug in. The speakers are on and working but no sound is coming out. I also clicked on the speaker icon and turned the volume all the way up. It shows movement of sound, but there is still no sound coming out. Any suggestions??

The first thing to do is to determine if it is the speakers or the computer that is having issues. Plug the speakers into an MP3 play, disk player or some other audio device that has a headphone jack and verify they work. If they do, then you need to determine why the computer is not sending sound to the jack. When you right click on the speaker icon, and select "Open volume mixer" there should be multiple sliders to turn up. Make sure the internal speaker/headphone jack volume is up (and mute not selected) as well as the "applications / windows sounds" volume. comment back to me if you require further assistance and if so, include the model computer and operating system in your comments. How do i set up

Hi,
Ty this - there is one wire with a green end - plug this into the sound card on your pc.

Take the one wire from the left speaker and plug it into the main control box to the matching plug.
Take the remaining wire and plug it into the other matching plug on the back of the main LARGER control box.
Plug it in the wall socket.

Play music on your pc.

You may need to load the monitor drivers.

I assume your PC sound is OK.

When you are plugging the green lead in the Moniotr / PC do you hear any noise from the monitor?? if not may be faulty.

Try plugging a friends set of speakers into the back of your PC.

It suppose that you got the cables to do the job!
So i guess you got one.
In the back of the PC is a female plug(normally is green) here(after you do all cable plugs on the device) you plug the green male that comes from the sound device.

Hi

Please can you advise if you have 2 sound cards installed

You will know this by looking at the back of the computer, the sound card wil have 3 ports coloured Purple/Dark Green and Light green

Your speaker connection needs to go into the light green and will have a symbol above it like this ))(left arrow)

If there are 2 sets of ports then try one and if that fails try the other if there is only one plug your speaker conneciton into the light green port

The power light is on,but there is no sound coming from my speakers

make sure that the speakers are plugged into the GREEN circle on the back of the machine, and make sure the volume controls in windows are turned all the way up, and mute is NOT checked. If that still does not work, hook the speakers up to an ipod, walkman, boombox, or anything with an earphone jack, and see if they play. If they work, then its a pc issue.

Speaker hook up

Shari,

It is my hope that I can help. This applies to the type of sound card on your PC.

- If you have a 2-channel sound card: Select 2 on the source selector switch on the subwoofer. Connect the green plug from the audio input cable to tyhe front jack on your PC sound card. With this input setting, your speakers will upmix the 4-channel signal and create a center signal for your speakers.

- If you have a 4-channel sound card: Select '4' on the source selector switch on the subwoofer. Connect the colored jacks on the audio input cable to the jacks on your PC sound card, making sure to match the colors.

- If you have a '6'-channel sound card: Select '5-1' on the source selector switch on the subwoofer. Connect the colored jacks on the audio input cable to the jacks on your PC sound card, making sure to match the colors.

Your sound card is located on the back of your PC Tower.

Good luck

No Sound Now on Computer

Might be trivial, but try the volume controls, that little speaker icon on the Windows task bar.
