HP officejet 6110 all in one

I have a problem with my printer as I print a word document only the graphic is printed and not the text. If I print only text nothing is printed. The printer responds to the print comand but only prints the graphic or will feed the paper without printing the text.

What should I do as this only started today for no apparent reason I have been printing with no problem uptill now

thank you Ilana

I would like to send a fax from my PC. I have a MS Word document and a HP 6110 xi connected as a printer to my PC. Can I send the fax directly to the other person or do I have to print it and send it via...

Hi,

You can send the Word document as Fax from Your PC to Printer

Open the document and Click File menu and Click Print option
Choose the HP Officejet 6110 series Fax ( not the regular printer icon )
Click Print Button

You will find a cover page to enter the fax details
Enter the details and click SEND FAX button - the Printer will start dialing the # to send Fax ( word document )

Regards,
Shawn

Officejet 6110- do display/needs attention light on continuously

try this
turn on/off, unplug, plug in, should reset configs. might have to do this a coupe of times

go to applications folder for your computer, dbl click printer icon for make of printer. check settings. print 'test document and clean cartridge heads', this should ensure proper printing formats.

hope this helps and good luck

How do i change font size on HP 6110 xi printer

The manual doesn't list scaleable font size as a feature. You will probably have to set your font size in the document you are making.

HP OfficeJet 6110 Prints very slow then aborts about 1/3rd way through print

I identified this issue with my Officejet 6110xi All-in-One as firmware corruption. Attempting to install the supplied firmware update gave the error that "no hp device connected to the computer would benefit from it at this time." Attempted to power down the printer using #9 keystroke and got "FULL RESET" message, but problem of extremely slow printing and erratic behavior of the print heads persisted. I solved the problem by putting the printer outside in cold weather for two (2) days. This frequently resets firmwares with software corruption back to their embedded EEPROM state. Hooked the printer back up and worked fine. If cold weather is not available you could try other creative methods of cooling the device, just use a plastic bag and with ideally some drying packets thrown in to prevent excessive moisture buildup in the cold environment. The colder it is the faster the firmware resets.
