I will look into the free solution some more and try to figure out why you got those error messages. Here is a paid alternative if you decide to go this way,

There are 2 types of unlock code on cell phones.
One is a PUK Personal Unlock Code which you should have and is network independant.
The code you require is an Unlock Code which is Networ Dependant.
You need to call your service provider and they should provide you with this code.
there is no other way to get this code.

I assume you are asking about unlocking your phone. If you are a tmobile user than any tmobile sim will work in your phone even if your phone is locked. When a foreign or different compatible sim is inserted your phone will ask for the unlock code if your phone is locked. When you have an unlocked phone it automatically accepts the sim and does not ask for the unlock code since your phone is unlocked.
