My "50" RCA Scenium won't

That's usually caused by a bad lamp. However that chassis is famous for having bad caps on the power board. The repair kit is available at the following link and has repair instructions included. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/product_info.php/pName/rca-atc336-dlp-power-board-repair-kit/cName/repair-kits

I have a 52" RCA

sounds like the power supply capacitors CP150, CP120 and CP114 need replacement. You can get the RCA repair kit by that same name from www.tvrepairworld.com which has the caps and the CD with repair instructions.

The power/standby indicator is flashing a red light and my tv will not turn on.

Hi,
Flashing of the led light indicates an error code, count how many times it will blink to determine where the fault came from.

My rca tv does not turn that happens, check the power supply but can not find the problem, can someone help me

If the power indicator blinks 5 times its usually indicating failed capacitors on the AC in board. Let me know what cycle the power indicator goes through when you press power and I will assist with the problem.

Help please urgent

It may have been the outer casing to the lamp and the lamp may still be bad - that's normally what the flashing power button indicates. Do you have a specific model number for the tv?

Rca m50wh725 rear projection tv.

It has gone into protection mode. This is caused when a short circuit is detected by the power management system inside the tv. Try a hard reset: Unplug the power cord for a full 4 hours; then try it again and see if it will clear the protection fault and reset it. If the reset does not help you will need to have a tech look at the set and take voltage measurements inside to determine which section of the tv has failed and what components will need replacement. The cost of repair is always over $200 and could be much more, depending on the specific parts that need replacing. If the ICs have burned out the repair is around $400. The flashing of the standby light may mean something, but I do not know the diagnostic code RCA is using; most RCA models do not have any diagnostic blink codes in the set. Hope this helps. Let me know if I can help further.
