When i insert memory card "memory card inserted" is displayed but phone freezes

My card's properties shows "Generic Flat" probably a linux file system. A windows OS will show the card when inserted in the device but there is no option to format. When inserted in a card reader windows will not recognize it. Resign yourself to using the card in the phone or find a linux computer. Try booting your windows machine from DVD-Rom with Knoppix, a live linux file system. If the card is recognized format to a FAT 32 or NTFS file system..

May be memory card is not inserted properly, plug it out and insert it again. and switch off and then do on your phone.
if not working by doing above...
Then there may be memory card problem, or format of memory card not supported by phone...
Do a memory card format using your PC, format it with NTFS file system. and then insert it into your phone it may start working...

if you have an iPhone you should not be putting a memory card into it. It has built in memory so you would not need to put another one inside it. If this is for another phone. trying erasing everything on the memory card and trying again.

Hi, it always happen when the memory card is not reading n the phone,either is not inserted properly.
Switch off the phone and re-insert the memory card and see if it will work.
After re-inserting the memory card,if not result yet, you will have to test memory card with another phone to see if the memory card is still function properly .If the memory card functions on another phone,that means the memory card slot where you fixing the memory card in damaged and will need to be replaced.

The problem is from the phone, restore the factory settings of the phone and try to insert the memory card into the phone again.

If it does not read it, try a smaller sized memory card to see if it will work.

If it does not work, then the fault is from the phone.

You have to change the memory cards slot.

Try cleaning the connectors on the memory card. Check the card on a different phone or PC. Make sure the card is inserted correctly, right side up.

Did you insert the memory card in the right direction? Well, I would suggest you to try to reformat your memory card then insert it on your phone. Next time try to use the USB cable tp connect it to your pc.

I removed the memory card and inserted another one, I then removed the memory card and inserted the original one, it doesn't display memory card in the file manager. and when i'm taking a picture it says "restore etc. " in my restore factory has a password . i don't know what is the password . can u help me .

hi format your memory card through the phone it will set it to your phones settings.
