SOURCE: Wolf wall oven error message: RTD Open

RTD is resistence tempature detector. The oven is telling you that the tempature probe circuit is open. The temapture probe may have been damaged due to the self-cleaning cycle or it could just be the wiring harness is loose. You will need to remove the tempature probe and test it with a ohm meter. The average reading should be aroun 1200 ohms at room tempature. If it is testing open or the ohm reading is way off then you will need to replace the tempature probe. If it is testing good then it could be aproblem with the control board.

SOURCE: Wolf Range model # DF364-C-LP.

Hi,
According to the service manuel for this unit you will need to replace your controller, somehow you lost communication. Part number you will need is 806827.
Before you order this I would locate you local dealer or call Wolf and look into the warranty status, this repair should be done by a certified technician.
Call 888-833-0306 this is a distributor of Wolf and can get you the part you need, or 1-800-919-8324 for factory assistance to get this problem taken care of or direct you to a servicer in your area.
This part is pricey, and not easy to have changed out. I have changed one before and is tricky to work with the bullnose on this unit.
I know this information is not what you wanted, but at least I and able to direct you in the correct direction to repair this problem.
I hope this was helpful

Wolf ovens getting err message after power outage

I had a Wolf 30F wall oven with a similar problem
after power outage. It wouldnt stop beeping with error message related
to temperature control. My solution was to turn power of at circuit
panel, then reset by pressing and holding the clear button for 5
seconds.

Also note: in my case I had to close the display
before switching the panel off. When I tried to the reset process with
the panel showing, it wouldn\'t reset.

To reset other
various parts of the control panel Instructions said:

Time-of-Day Clock

Immediately after the oven is installed, set
the 12-hour clock to the current time of day. It may need to be reset
after a prolonged power failure. The clock is visible on the control
panel during all modes. If the upper oven timer is set, the clock will
not be visible in the upper oven control panel display.

SETTING CLOCK

1) Touch CLOCK.

2) Touch number pads to
set current time of day.

3) Touch CLOCK or ENTER to start
clock.

24-HOUR CLOCK

The time-of-day clock can be
changed from a 12-hour clock to a 24-hour clock. After the clock has
been set, touch TEMPERATURE for three seconds, touch CLOCK, and then
touch ENTER. Follow the same sequence to change back to the standard
12-hour clock setting.

Fahrenheit to Celsius

The
oven can be changed from Fahrenheit (°F) temperature to Celsius
(°C).

Wolf Double Oven

I had the same problem with a Wolf L-Series double wall oven (Model DO30) and called for service (under extended warranty contract). The tech told me that the F1 error is a latch problem (you know the one that grabs and locks the door during self-clean cycles). He cleared the error using a series of "secret" button presses on the control panel and the problem cleared. Now, when it happens (which isn't very frequently), I do the same thing he did ... press "0" and "Temperature" for the oven causing the problem and hold them for about 5 seconds. The oven will ding and the display will show some diagnostics, including the error event. Press "Cook Time" and "Stop Time" while in this diagnostic mode to clear the error register, then press "Off". I've also tried to keep the area across the top of the oven opening clean (with a little degreaser), especially around the latch, and I've sprayed a bit of WD-40 into the latch periodically for lubrication and cleaning.
