Unplug the unit and restart it, and see if the error is gone, if your sure that there is no paper stuck where it feeds in and out.

Error number 6A00 for Canon Pixma IP4200 Blinking Power and resume light.

Hi
Error 6A00
The 6A00 is a Canon generic code for paper path jam.

Solution 1:
Move the printhead carriage back and forth a few times.

Solution 2:
Check the purge unit: Moving the print head assembly will not clear a purge unit if its jammed with paper, paper clips, push pins, screws, cookie crisp, flower bud pods or the like.

Solution 3:
Press the ink pads down in the purge unit.

Printer paper feed for Canon iP4200

There are probably problems with the rollers or the gear sequence that drives them. This type of repair may be more costly than what the printer is worth!

  • unplug the power cord for the printer.
  • press and hold the power button
  • plug the power cord in still holding down the power button
  • the power light should come on when it does release the power button
  • power on the printer like you normally do

Canon PIXMA ip200

You have a stuck paper sensor.

It can be caused by a bit pf paper still inside the machine, or a foreign object in the paper path, or a bent or broken paper sensor actuator.

If you're willing to take the machine apart, you can check the sensors. If not, contact your local service centre.

Paper jam!!! UJO's in sight (unidentified jamming objects. At least thats where i would start. Get a torch, tweezers and go on a little itty bitty paper hunt, i am willing to bet you will find a jam of some size or sort. ook everywhere, it doesn't have to be big to cause probs.
