Change from Spanish into English

To change the language, just press repeatly the FLASH button until you see the message: 1ENG 2FRA 3ESP on the screen. Now just press 1, 2 or 3 on the keyboard to select the language you want. Press again the FLASH button to confirm.

If you want to personalize your message, just press and hold the "announce" button on the base while you speak to the microphone. Your message can be as longer as two minutes. Release the button when finished. To check your message just press and release the same button.

• On the screen that says WHERE TO and VIEW MAP there's a TOOLS icon (Picture of a spanner.) Press it.
• Then press SETTINGS, (the spanner icon) or on some models LOCALE (Blue Icon at the top left corner) replaces the SETTINGS icon
• Press LANGUAGE (The lips icon)
• On this page you'll see 3 items; VOICE, TEXT LANGUAGE and KEYBOARD

If you need to change the text language press TEXT LANGUAGE and select ENGLISH
To change the voice language press VOICE and select the name of an English speaking voice
If you need to change the keyboard layout press KEYBOARD and select English

If the text language is in Spanish you won't know which icon is which but press each one in turn and you can change each to English. This should solve your problem.

I think I found a solution. On my phone model 27996GE3-A, I unplugged the phone for a few seconds, plugged it back in and waited until the display showed the number of messages and then I pressed the "skip" and "review" buttons at the same time and then it announced the the language changed to english. Hope this helps.

To resolve this issue hold down the skip button for 2-3 seconds and it will change back to English.

Press and hold the "Skip" button. I did this while the answer machine was ON. The english voice will say that the language has changed to english.

Just as the other answers that were left...you just have to press the skip button. Just make sure that you press announce on the cradle...not on the phone...then when you hear the voice in Spanish just press and HOLD the skip button until it changes to English. Good Luck

The solution that Best Solution gave worked for me to change it back to English. Thanks bunches!

To return the base announce language to english press and hold the skip button for two seconds. To change the display language in the handset press the flash button, then use the CID button to sellect english, then cycle thru the rest of the menu by pushing the flash button until done. Hope this helps!
