My Misubishi WT-A42 has shadows on the screen almost as you are seeing double.

its something to do with the circiut board of your tv. if not its simply the power switch of the tv. that can be replaced bby repair man.

the convergence ICs need replacement. you can get the convergence repair kit at www.tvrepairworld.com

error 22 says SHORT PROTECT CIRCUIT in the service manual, it has all the wiring and board diagrams as well as replaceable parts and part numbers

maybe theres aproblem between the power supply and in the horizontal circuit of your tv

change the1000uf capacitors

It sounds like your regulator circuit is defective. Not an expensive repair, maybe $200.or a little more.

Resolder and/or replace the conv ICs.
