I have a Linksys Wireless-G2.4 GHz Broadband Router and I am having difficulty picking up the internet. Occasionaly I can get on the internet when it recognizes some one else's signal but it is very low. It does not recognize my Lynksys, I was with a cable internet and thought that to see the problem so I switched internet companies and am now with a bigger company with my internet with my phone company. I have talked to my phone company about not picking up the internet on my wireless laptop and they said it is my Linksys, I do get a signal on my laptap when I use it at work and it is plugged into the internet there.
You will need to check the wireless settings of the router
is there any computer connected to the router ?
If yes then you can open the router set up page on that computer.
Router set up page is the page where you can check all the wireless settings of the router.
If that doesn't work then upgrade the firmware of the router.
Firmware is the software of the router. After upgrading the firmware, it is recommended that you should reset the router and reconfigure the router.
