Install microsoft software?

This would appear to be a simple matter of whether the Microsoft Office software installed on this ex-rental computer was already installed on it when ownership transferred to you and, if so, if it was a genuine, licensed copy of the software that was installed. It may be that a rental client installed the software without the rental company's knowledge and that you bought the computer from the rental company and assumed that all the software installed on it was legitimate.

If you believe the installed application is actually licensed, then all you need to do is to activate it by going to the Microsoft website and, under Support and Activation, allow the site to scan your computer to verify the validity of the license. If the software proves to be licensed it will automatically be validated and the usage and Automatic Updates restrictions lifted, removing the need for you to enter a Product ID.

If the software turns out to be unlicensed, you will have the opportunity to pay for and download an Activation Code from the Microsoft website which will automatically validate and legitimize the installed Office software and automatically remove any usage limitations and Automatic Updates restrictions you are currently experiencing.

The Product ID is a Microsoft generated code that links genuine Microsoft software with a genuine Microsoft license that permits the user to install and use the software with the authority of the copyright holder. Without a valid Product ID, the software is illegal and installing it and using it qualifies as software piracy and copyright theft which, in certain circumstances, can become a civil legal issue or even a law enforcement matter. Please note that, not being aware of the Law does not usually qualify as a Defense in legal matters.

If your copy of Microsoft Office is unlicensed, then what you are seeing are the first signs of usage restrictions and limitations that can ultimately end up in the application locking you out completely and therefore becoming totally unusable. As things stand you are probably already unable to benefit from Microsoft Automatic Updates, enhancements and security patches for Microsoft Office.

I would advise you to use only a genuine licensed version of Microsoft Office or you will almost certainly have authorization problems such as the ones you are starting to experience, which defeat the object of installing the software in the first place.

Alternatively, you can buy and install a heavily discounted, genuine licensed version of Microsoft Office 2007 Professional Plus Edition starting from about $85 (plus shipping and packing) or Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus Edition for about $78 (plus shipping and packing) from similar websites, geographically local to you, as:

The only legal downloads of Microsoft products are available from Micrsosoft and Microsoft do not currently offer downloads of old products like Microsoft Office 2007 or Office 2003. The only Microsoft Office product a user can download is the trial version of whatever latest version of Microsoft Office that is available. Currently you can only download Microsoft Office 2010 Trial. Trial versions of Microsoft Office are free to download but can only be used for the limited trial period of usually 60 days . After the trial period expires, in order to continue using the software, the user has to upgrade to the full version and pay Microsoft for an online Activation Code which unlocks the trial version's time limitation and allows indefinite use from that point onwards.


If this type of software is necessary for you but don't want to or can't afford to pay the retail price of Microsoft Office, then you could use completely free Office software like Open Office, which is very similar to Microsoft Office and can even be used to open, edit and manage the majority of the most common types of Microsoft Office spreadsheets, databases and documents. You don't have to pay anything at all to download install and use Open Office, because it is an Open Source software application.

Procedure
Close all programs while uninstalling - downloading and uploading software
Disconnect your webcam
Uninstall the current webcam software on your computer
Restart computer
Download the Installation package from Microsoft
Run the installer and choose your options when prompted
Connect your webcam when prompted.

If you want to use any of such software, you need to install them from Original Microsoft Office Installation CD/DVD. This CD/DVD you can get from your near by retailer for Computer Software.

Genuine Microsoft is actually a software that is used to scan and detect any software installed in the your computer and evaluate it as license or not license software. You can not find it in the control panel. If you are using not license software of Microsoft please reinstall your system and install a license software. If you don't have any license software available in your home then please purchase a license one and have it install in your system.

If you receive an "invalid product key" error message when you try to start one of the following:
