Hi , I bought Nokia 5610 20 days back, when i tried security code with the default code i.e 12345, its giving code error.Can any body help me how out?

click here this is all the codes nokia have for their phones you might be able to use these to reset the phone, But remember if you reset the phone you will lose all the data like numbers, messages, ringtones so just be warned.

Is the phone asking for the security code when you switch it on if this is the case and you cant access your phone then dont try entering the code because if you enter it wrong more than 5 times then the phone becomes hard locked. So let me know if this is the case.

If the phone isnt locked and you just want to change the security code then let me know ok

Also is the phone brand new like you brought it from shop still in box etc, or is this a phone you have purchased of someone,

*#7370# or *#7780

note: remove SIM card when you key in this code.

or try hard reset: power "off" the phone. then press and hold "call button" " * " button " 3" button at the same time. then press power "ON"

JAF to the rescue! (JAF can read the code, but PKEY will cost you pretty penny).
You could try using Nemesis Service Suite to perform a master reset (the phone option will not work as you need to know the security code). Make sure you back up everything important.

hi,the code was typed too many times. take out battery for 30-40 minutes. and then try 12345. if no joy then reflash the phone (do a back up before reflashing as you'll loose all your data).
