Have Aeg 72630 - 3 years old - The machine runs for about 10 mins on a quick wash and always sticks at 47 mins. If you change it to another cycle it does exactly the same thing.
When it sticks, is the tub empty of water? If so then you may need to change the cold water solonoid just inside machine where fill vaulves are fitted. good luck hope this works

Your washing machine could of had now died on you guys and is not working anymore. It would be cheaper just to buy a new washing machine than to repair the washing machine that is 10 years old now. The drain hose might be clogged or kinked or lid switch or the belt is not working in your washing machine.
Press first left up button and first left down button simultaneously
( during the execution of the washing programme ) for at least 2 seconds: the LED switch off and then display the sequence of flashes indicating the alarm.
The alarm sequence is displayed for the time in which the buttons are hold down.
When you read the alarm code,we will be able assume what may be faulty.
This is usually caused by the recycling pump running empty whilst the washing is still soaking up the initial fill water. as the water begins to soak the clothes it then starts to pass through the drum into the pump and the whole thing quietens down. running empty will not work. to test this theory try opening the drawer very slightly and filling it manually with a hose before starting the machine, (ONLY TO THE NORMAL LEVEL) and see if the noise is still as bad.
Yes this is the bearings, they have completely collapsed and the oil is leaking out onto your clothes. You will need a new tub rear and that is around £120 plus labour. Sorry its not better news.
Hi there.
I have the same problem with my machine. Whatever program I select, the machine runs fine until it reaches 54 mins of the cycle remaining. To overcome the problem just to select a cycle that will not stop mid cycle, select a program which is less than 54 mins. I think the 40 degrees and quick wash select is the one to run with. The cycle is 45 mins, obviously less that 54 mins. The LED timer will display the cycle time. No problems with this cycle whatsoever. Not the total solution, but at least you're able to complete a cycle. After it's completed, I also run the spin program at 1200rpm. I hope this helps.
Regards, Ian.
most likeley cause are worn out carbon brushes in the main motor. have you seen any error codes e52 relates to the motor brush problem. e20 is inefficent draining caused by blockage in the pump chamber acces in the plinth area/ or in hoses or drain connection
It is a communication problem between the circuit boards inside the machine. It might be as simple as unplugging and replacing the wires, or you may indeed require a new circuit board.
If the drain lines were plugged, there may have been enough pressure on the pump to fault out. Make sure the sewer line is completely open, as well as the lines at the pump.
