Panasonic KX-FL511 fax, have replaced the drum kit twice now, following the install instructions with drum (and same instructions in manual). Machine still will not reset counter or recognize the new drum(s) and clear the replace drum soon error message. How to reset the counter? Thanks.

You need to follow the instructions that came with the drum as you need to reset the internal counter.

First of you will have to purcahse a Panasonic Drum Unit for you fax.

Inside the drum unit yu will have detailed instructions, you will open up the fax in the front take aout the old and install the new.

just change with new drum and toner.after replacing when msg gone just press start.u will receive ur faxes in memory.MIAN AKHLAQ

have u changed it with new one or used .process in fax when we replace it with new one it take some time for running .when it complete his circle error finishes from memory .if machine is off in this time or any other trouble it will create the problem .just take a drum from any same fax and put this in fax after running i think error will disapeear.

press menu #9000*550 start

unplug the unit once heard the beep
after 10 seconds, plug it again
