This is how first go to you control panel and click mouse then look if you locked your mouse to delete things if not use the right click of your mouse on the folder and delete it.

Windows mEDIA PLAYER SAYs my sansae260 is full, but device won't sync. It says no song. I tried to reset, but still says no song

change the usb modes also....MSC will allow you to see the expansion card ( 2Gig E200 series 4gig Fuze) mtp won't.....MTP shows you your music folder in the media folder thats where you put your music plus expansion.....
Delete songs and Format (Helps with trying to delete BAD TRACKS and folders that will not delete full memory(Some ripped CD folders).. Go to my computer scroll to sansa or your MP3 player and open the music folder and open each sub folder and delete Songs manually then delete the folders themselves then format a couple of times hope this works

Sync

make a folder on your desktop, copy the files that you want from your 'music' folder, and paste them into this folder. Then copy all of the files in the folder you just created and paste them into your mp3 player. Open the mp3 player in 'my computer' and just right click and paste. Your music files should go over. Once you are happy delete the folder from the desktop or keep it for further use.

Sony walkman 1 gig mp3

If you just deleted the Music folder with all of the music files together, then you may want to recreate the Music folder. If it's already there, then you may want to reinstall the firmware software on the Sony Support Center.

Good luck and Happy Holidays.

Deleteing problems

Go to My Computer>Device Name (m240)>MUSIC Folder, all of the contents are there,

If you do not see a MUSIC folder, you will need to enable hidden files and folders on your computer.

Best of Luck.

How do i delete old music

Ok well usually the MP3 player will show up as a "Drive" in My Computer & as such one may cut, copy, & paste as usual within windows, so.. usually, ya right click the "Drive" and select explore.. then find the Music file(s) you wish, right click it, and select delete. To copy a file.. ya can simply cut & paste to the MP3 player.

I need to delete songs, but there is no music file!

You have to first change the USB mode on the player to MTP (as opposed to MSC). Forget using the Windows Media Player (yeah, I know). Go to Explorer, go to drive E or whatever your Sansa is listed as....open it and it will show different types of folders. Go to MUSIC folder. The songs are listed and you can delete, e.g. delete mp3 and keep WMA of the same song, or whatever else you want to delete.
