Dynex TVs can have different remote codes, depending on the model of the TV you own and the type of remote you are using. You didn't specify your specific Dynex model number, however the company only makes one 15" HD TV model. It's therefore quite likely that you own model DX-15L150A11. Even if that isn't the exact model you own, the information below should apply to all 15", 19", and 22" Dynex TV models.

Here are some steps and codes for your tv and DISH Network. I hope this helps.

1. Hold down the clear TV button until all lights light up at the top of the remote
2. Punch in a 3 digit code (provided below)
3. Press the # (POUND) button
4. Try powering the tv on/off, and the volume. If one or more of these functions do not work, start over from step 1 with a different code

The word from RCA technical support is that the remote for the L32HD31R operates on a different frequency and there is currently NO universal remote on the market that will work with the set. They say that they have plans to market a universal remote and that they are working with other manufactuers of remotes but there is no resolution or time frame available. In short, you will have to use two remotes and keep checking the RCA website for a breakthrough.

I'm not sure that I would have bought the TV if I'd known.

Sylvania TV codes are 1004, 1006, 1008, 1019, 1062, 1068, 1069, 1075, 1076, 1088, 1130, 1132, 1134, 1183, 1189, 1251 listed in back of the manual.
