Automatic oiler not working on Remington EL-9.

Automatic oiler not working on Remington EL-9. Wherfe can I get a replacement part?

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

The EL-9 does not cross, there are likely numbers that will. Please try here: Remington.comhttp://shoppingcart.msservicecompany.com... Type "YourModelNumber" into the "Search for your unit by Model:" window, then click search. Click the YourModelNo - Remington Electric Chain Saw "View Model" link. Click ?View Owners Manual? or "View Illustrated Parts Diagram" link. Type "YourPartNumber" into the ?Search for your parts by Part #:? window, then click search. If you find a part number that says "NLA" or "Back Ordered with no delivery date", try an Internet search for "Remington YourPartNumber". That has proved fruitful on a few occations. Did you know RemingtonPower is no in production? Replacement parts are becomming very difficult to find, often eBay is the only source. HTH Lou

Remington mighty mite chain saw

hi Wayne

Oiling has nothing to do with compression. It has conection only with engine rotation(rpm).More rpm results more oil and viceverse.Check the oil filter, the oil line, the holes from the bar,the oiler, the wormgear and the oil hose.

wish you all the best savumihai71
