Download and install a CODEC package for your PC this is the problem you don't have certain CODECs installed these make anything invisible to the system without them.

Win 7 CODEC HDTV pack with all the latest CODECs go to www.freecodecs.com download from there problem should be solved.

Please refer to HPs website to re download the drivers.

Please note, if you are using Windows 7, the volume control will not work since there is not a windows 7 driver for it.

I bought a presario from circuit city last year, and I paid $200 to downgrade to XP. Everything was fine until it crashed last week. IT went completely bizzerk. HP won't provide support, cause I changed it. Circuit City is out of business, not much help there.

Basically, I am completely #$%%@@.

I am now paying to get Vista put back in. :-(
