My fuji finepix S2 pro camera can not turn on when i put 2 cr batteries into its grip, when i remove 2 cr batteries it's turn on and work but i can't using flash, error no cr batteries found. Please show...

This is an old post but if you haven't found your solution yet here is the solution.
The Fuji FinePix S2 Pro uses two sets of batteries one set located in the camera body grip and another set in the battery grip itself. If you are experiencing the problem you are then the batteries in the camera body are dead and need replacement. here is a diagram. Replacing the batteries in the camera body require removing the grip.

Fuji FinePix S2 Pro won't turn on

I had a very similar problem a couple of years ago. Found intermittent power from AA source when battery tray was moved slightly while shooting. I ordered a new AA battery tray from Fuji ($50 I think), problem solved, no trouble since. The tray must hold the batteries tightly against the contacts inside the camera. Camera had only shot about 5000 frames when the problem arose. Hope this helps.

Error message is F--

Well, it looks that FE message means that the camera is confused. I saw this message when I put a non-D lens and automatic TTL flash  (which does require D lens to measure a distance). Usually putting the camera (or flash in my case) into manual mode got rid of the error.

Err message on my S2 Pro

Try removing the lens, the memory card, and the lithium batteries. With freshly charged AA batteries, turn the camera on. If it comes on without the "err" message in that case, your problem lies with the memory card, the lens, or the lithium batteries. Turn off the camera and add these things until you encounter the problem again.

For a lens, check to make sure the electronic contacts are clean and that the lens gets fully twisted into place, and that if there is an aperture lock, that the aperture is set to the smallest possible aperture (22 or 16, usually).

For the memory card, reformat it elsewhere if it is causing problems. The Fuji S2 is notorious for being picky about memory cards.

Lithium batteries that are slightly run-down can cause all sorts of issues. Your S2 doesn't need to use lithium batteries, except for the built-in flash. You can add an extra AA battery pack to replace the lithium batteries, and that will improve the camera's reliability.

Fuji Finepix S2 Pro

Ensure the batteries are the correct kind and chemical makeup (yes it does make a difference!)
try using lithium or alkaline as oppose to standard =]

Otherwise there may be an issue with the camera itself, check for warranty? if it isnt under warranty, document the error message/number, consult the manual AND the support site for the manufacturer.

good luck! =]

Error

Here is where you can download a copy of the manual from:
Fuji S2 Manual
This is what the manual says about your error:
If FEE in in top display: "CPU Nikkor lens other than G-type
is not set to its minimum aperture. Fix: Set lens to minimum aperture."
If FEE is in viewfinder: "Attached flash is not set at TTL
Auto Flash in “P” mode. Fix: Set the external flash mode to TTL, or set the camera’s exposure mode to “S”, “A” or “M”."
Are you using a flash that attaches to the camera?
If not, then the problem is with the aperture setting. It looks like you would have to set the camera dial to M, for Manual, and use the ring on the lens to set the aperture.
The low battery symbol looks like a battery, all black when charged, half-black as power goes down.
This looks like a nice camera, hope I was able to help.

Error msg fuji s2

couple of things:
I take it that "Err" shows on the display ? This can be caused by a number of things, including the aperture ring on the lense being in the wrong position. Make sure its set to the orange number. The 'err' message isnt generally shown for a power problem. If you have a DC power lead, attach that and see if you can get the camera to work.
Batteries are a nightmare for the S2.
Firstly, if looking for rechargeable AA's, you need at least 2300mAh. Maplin are doing a good deal till the end of the month on them; http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=46414
If you have the small lithium batteries in, then take them out. If the camera senses that they are in there, it will try and use them -even if they are depleted. You can replace them with CR123a batteries, but unless you want to use the on-camera flash, I wouldnt bother. DONT BUY RECHARGEABLE CR123A s !! They do not have anywhere near enough power.
Summary; Check aperture ring remove/replace CR123a (High quality replacement) Use high power AA's
let us know if this works

Error

Before the heart attack, check your lens. I believe its the D series lenses that need to be set to all the way open. I get this "err" alot, and then look down to see that Ive rotated the appature.
