My monitor #VA1912w series has a very "faded" color readout. This came on suddenly after re-starting the computer. I do not know what to do to correct this, nothing I try works. Please help. Thank you, Shirley, [email protected]

Hi

Please try the following

1)test the monitor in another PC to ensure your VGA card is not at fault
2) Please try getting another vga cbale to rule out cable problems
3) Degauss the monitor from the menu options

If both fail above then unfortunatley you may have a hardware fault and will need to book the monitor in for repair/replacement

If this has been useful please leave positive feedback/vote

Lg flatron w1943tb color fades in and out to a blue green

Follow the following solutions, this should fix up your trouble
1. Turn yourmonitor on. It should be on for at least 20 minutes before you continue.
2.Press the"Auto/Select" button on the front of your computer's monitor. Thescreen will be wavy while the adjustment happens. When the screen stops beingwavy, the faded colors should no longer be visible.
Follow steps 1 and 2 if you do not have a disk for the monitor.

Hi i have a view sonic va1912w lcd monitor but i cant get it to its true resolution that is 1440*900 i get only 1280*1024 plz solve this issue

You probably need to install the drivers for this monitor. Try going here: http://www.viewsonic.com/support/downloads/drivers/?prod_name=VA1912w
and download and install the drivers for your OS (Vista, Windows 7, etc). You may need to then restart your machine, but this should hopefully help with your issues.
