All of a sudden my tv acts like I need to put on 3D glasses.. Its showing me red and green?

This TV has the active 3D transmitter built in to it in some regions. It is included for the model sold in the U.K.

You need to register the Active 3D glasses before they will work with the TV. To register the glasses, turn on the TV and bring the glasses within .5m of the TV. Then press and hold the power button on the glasses for 2+ seconds (until the power button blinks alternating green and yellow). When the registration is successful, a message will show on the bottom of the TV and the green light will stay on for 3 seconds. This will need to be repeated if you use the Active 3D glasses with another TV and then use them again with this TV.

Now you need to activate the 3D feature on the TV. Press the 3D button on the remote or press the control bar on the Touchpad remote and slide the touch pad to the 3D icon and select it. Then choose your 3D option. You may also need to adjust the 3D display settings from the Home button. Press Home and select Settings. Then choose Display and then 3D.

The tv have a problems known as a convergence pictures problems,it is dead.Tv have any colors lines R,G,B mis alignments,have colors shadows pictures or pictures look like 3D?Yes,than the tv convergence board it is dead.The tv convergence board must have it components parts replaced like 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors too.To fixed the tv convergence board to solved the tv convergence pictures problems.The tvs shops will cost u like $300-$350 for parts and labors.

Hi, it's not really the tv you need but the film, alot of the films shown in 3d have a red and green outline to the characters and objects and can be played in most any dvd player, this is the type of film or programme that require the cheap 3d glasses.

A film example can be seen via Youtube using these type of glasses, note that it may take a few minutes for your brain to adjust to seeing the 3d result.

its in your LCD connector re-connect it properly.

it sounds like your convergence is off.

you have Red, Greed & Blue projection guns
through your menu's you will find adjustments for them ...

set your green first then align then red and then blue to the green..

when making this adjustment the tv should put up a caliration signal called a crosshatch
a matrix of H and V lines to align

You have a convergence output IC failure. You my also need a few small associated parts as well. Expect to pay $350-450 to have this fixed.
