Printer problem My Epson C110 Printer, refuses to work. I have reinstalled it, which usually fixes the problem, but this time no good. It refuses to print anything, The Status Page shows all tanks Blank.( Greyed out) No cleaning functions nor print functions will work, and the ''Ink Out'' light is not on. I have tried disconnecting and re-connecting cables. Please help
Thanks to those who have tried to help As I said I deleted and re-installed the Printer but it still didn't work. Upon starting today I got a message that a new printer and driver had been installed. Sounds like a hardware problem. Try connecting the printer to a different computer (plug and play) and then install the software. Try a different cable.

ink light on? Check status monitor. Usually after jammed paper, printer trouble to recognized ink. Do change ink tank procedure, unplug and plug again ink tank.

Driver could be corrupt. Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off.
I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with
the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the
printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

You can remove magenta & double check that some tape was not left behind on the contacts. Take a clean ragg & dampen it with alcohol. Clean the ink cartridge's (copper contacts & inside the the ink carrige). Re-install the magenta, (tight fit). Power off the printer. Wait a few seconds & power it back up. If it fails a second time with no other errors. Like the above. Than the magenta may be defective. Have a recipt? Return it for a replacment.
Try putting genuine ink it. If it still refuses to recognise the carts then it need to go back to Epson for a warranty repair. As an Epson eng 90% of the time, rubbish compatible cartridges are the source of such issues. They can even make the printer stop recognising genuine carts.
Do not mention to Epson that you used compatibles or they may refuse the warranty repair.
