ok listen,Im not stupid or something, thats the first thing i tried when i read the message popped up on my screen, obviously that was the first thing to do,since it didnt work i came and asked you guys for help.I have no problem changing the rating if you can give me a solution that works. Before asking you guys i connected my mp3 to am cpu and took off one hundred songs, same thing,so i took off another 100 and same thing,so i took them all off and same thing. AND ALSO i had the 355 songs for 2 weeks and when i turned it on one day just like any other day that message popped up.How is it that after 2 weeks it decides to not work.if you acn help me i will strongly apreacciate it and like i said change the rating.

it appears you,ve overloaded it with 1 song too many.
connect to a PC With USB Lead ( If Applicable )
open device usually F:/G:/H:/ open music folder, delete 2-3 songs and reboot.
if this fails, try a reformat on the unit.
check instruction manual prior to all suggestions.

I Don,t see this was innapropriate to your Question.

You,ve obviously put too much stuff on it.

You won,t get much help from anyone, if this is the way you respond to anyones help or advice.

Be more careful with your ratings, you,ll get no help.

Or go elsewhere for your problems !!!!!!!!

You can,t change a rating, once its been posted.

You have to make a new-post then re-rate it.

I,m not sure your aware of how this site works, i,ll tell you.

I come onto this site, out of the goodness of my own time and effort, to try to help people FREE of charge, and at my own expense, as it,s my time and internet Phone Charges.

If you get a poor rated answer, like innapropriate-thanks for trying or similar, then my rating goes down.

So i,m persecuted by giving the best-Free advice i have to offer.

Heres your Possible Solution Free Without Paying to have A technical-Specialist to Try to solve your Problem.

If your songs are Replaceable, Backed up Or Saved. And you can Acces The player Via your USB Lead. You Need to re-format the Player. Or alternatively A Hard-Reset. There is a slight chance, that if at any time you put 1 too many songs on the player, that it has overwritten into your system directory, and deleted 1 or 2 files required to start the device.

Remember, this Advice Is Free. I don,t see too many People jumping to help you out with This!!!!!!

    Good-Luck Costas.

    Hi Costas,

They should,nt have charged you anything, if you paid $10 that was for technical advice to helpmsolve your problem. But now that you have rated the problem as innapropriate, theres not much i can Do, you have to wait until someone gives you The Fixya Solution.

Even if i can fix this for you, i wont get a cent, due to how you,ve rated it. The rating is now locked.

Ok heres my final shot at this problem, You should have a Driver Disk ?

Or look closely at the player front-back-underneath-sides everywher, and try to find a small hole, ( Not by the speaker if it has any ) this is a reset button. use a mini screwdriver or needle, push into the reset hole, and hold in for 10 Seconds, that should reset the Device.

    Mike @ Compurepair.

If none of this works, i,d add a new-post to the Forums, and i,ll help you further if i Can.

Ilo not working

You need to delete some songs off of there - even though the player advertises X amount of storage space, this number is actually lower because the player needs to use some of that space to process information. Just delete a few songs off of there (3MB worth to be exact), and you should be good to go again.

Annoying Memory Problem

There are two ways to format an Mp3 player - one on the computer itself, and one in Windows Media Player. Both methods will end up erasing all the songs on the player, but the player will be "good as new" after that. Sometimes reformatting in this manner will override the player's native formatting and cause problems - this can be reversed in most cases by updating the player's firmware. Firmware upgrades are available from most manufacturers' websites.

WARNING: The following procedures will erase all songs on the player.

Check if the file system is NTFS. If yes, format it to FAT or FAT32. - Connect player to computer, double-click my computer, right click on icon of mp3 player and select format. This only applies to Windows-based computers.
You can also format the player in Windows Media Player itself:
Connect your Mp3 player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "name of Mp3 player here 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
