I recently purchased a new computer and the USB ports located on my new computer will not support the USB cord that came with my Kodak Easy Share CX7330 camera. Is there a different (NEW) USB cord that will work?

Just use a card reader instead of your camera.

I installed a Kodak 8gb sdhc card in my Kodak Easy Share Z730 and it keeps telling me the card needs formatting formatted on my comp and thru my camera but still says the same thing

If the Camera is new or the SD Card is new then you don't have much problem,
use the installation CD that comes with the camera to install it driver on a computer, so can use the USB cord to explore the camera. on the computer, try to locate the SD Card and format it. then you can use the camera again.
If you have files on the digital camera then i am afraid you might have connected the camera earlier with a virus infected device. there is no choice but to fellow my step either to scan it with computer or better still format it with computer.
Hope to know the outcome!!

All of a sudden my Kodak Easyshare 530 will not transfer pictures to my computer, I have reinstalled software, still does not transfer. Can you help me?

Possible solutions:
Remember you need to turn the camera on when transferring.
Try a different USB outlet
Try a different cable
Try a different computer.
If all fails please contact KODAK in order to arrange a repair or order a new cable. Remember your USB cable is covered under the same warranty as your camera, so remember your serial number when calling:

If you suspect it could be directly related to your software.
You need to follow the instructions:
  1. Uninstall Easy Share software:
  2. Select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs.
For Windows XP operating systems, select Start > Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs.
  3. Select Kodak Easy Share software.
  4. Select Remove (or select Change, and then select Remove).
  5. Run the Clear utility:
  6. Visit the CLEAR Utility for Kodak Easy Share software Web page at www.kodak.com/go/clear
  7. Click the Download button, and then follow the on-screen prompts.
  8. After restarting your computer, visit the Kodak Easy Share software Web page at www.kodak.com/go/easysharesw and install the latest version of Easy Share software.

Kodak easy share just dissapeared frommy computer. please tell me what to do

Try disconnecting the camera's USB cord from the computer. Plug it back in after about 30 seconds, and you should see a "New Hardware Found" note at the bottom of your monitor, and the Kodak icon should reappear after a few seconds. If that doesn't work you may need to reinstall the Kodak EasyShare software. Don't use the CD that came with the camera though -- download and install the latest version - at no cost - at Kodak.com

When I plug in my camera to my computer the screen goes blue??

Have you loaded the Kodak software? If not, the computer may not know what to do so it locks up. You should be able to hot sync the USB cord to the computer, turn on the camera, and press the Share button. Caution: plug the cord into the camera FIRST--before you plug it into the USB port. Otherwise the camera could gets a surge from the computer which could zap it. Good luck.

Can i charge my kodak easy share m1063 just by connecting it to my computer through the usb?

Yes, you can charge it through the USB port on your pc. Do not use any type of USB hub though. It may take between 7-9 hours to charge it up this way.I got this info from KODAK.

The g 610 printer is not recognized by my computer and therefore I am unable to print photos from my files.

We had the USB port in upside down on the printer (go figure)! Once we reversed the USB cord and updated the software using the Kodak trouble shooting site,my computer added the new printer.

But we were still unable to print from the Kodak easy share, but were able to print from Adobe Photo shop.

Thanks for responding.

Kodak easy share SV 811

I had the same problem. I use kodak easyshare software and load my pics on to that. Then put all the pics you want in the picture tray. Have your frame plugged into the computer with your usb cord. Then go up to File menu and drop down to "copy to". On my computer it is Folder "E" which is the drive the frame is connected to. Then pick from the Resize drop down menu " best for picture frame', then click copy. You will see the program loading all the pics to E drive. When done, unplug usb cord and you will see it loading on your pic frame. As easy as this is to do, I found it frustrating as well, but when it works, it is easy. Hope this helps
