How do i turn on the webcam on my laptop? - Acer Aspire AS5520-5537 Notebook

Hello jenna_foster,

If you don't have a crystal eye webcam shortcut on your desktop then do the following:

•Click Start (lower left-hand of screen)
•Select Run
•Copy and paste this in the Run window (include quotation marks):
"C:\Program Files\ACER Crystal Eye webcam\Acer Crystal Eye webcam.exe"
•Click ok

The Crystal Eye webcam will become activated

I have a window 7 lab top and my webcam was't working but it was all ready in satlledbefore i unisatlled it. i tryed undowload it it cause the camera actually wasn't coming on so now i need so help..

you can go to my computer and you will find an icon for the webcam double click it and voila (mostly for built in cams)....

else you should make sure that ur webcam driver is installed correctly
in device manager in control panel.

Hello. I don't know what version of windows you are running or what webcam software acer has installed but a good place to start is to go to "start" and enter "webcam" into the search field and search your whole computer for it and when you find the program, remember where it is and launch it. The webcam should start.

If "webcam" doesn;t work type in camera.
