The disc spins for a long time and then wrong disk message shows it plays cd's ok.

• The majority of the time when a disk player shows "no disk" when attempting to play a disk either the disk is formatted wrong for the player or most likely dirty.
• Just get a lens cleaner and run it through the player two or three times. These lens cleaners are disks with very soft bristles on them that "sweep" the lens clean.
• The lens is real dirty and needs a good cleaning to be able to read the CD. This is common with all disk players that have not had a cleaning as they should.
• Be sure to give the cleaning disk a run through once a week.

TOC disk error normaly occurs when tool 1 of the set that goes in the small square hole at the front left of the drive bay above the power switch is missing or installed wrong

Either the spindle motor is not reaching the required speed to read the table of contents, the traverse motor is in the wrong place and won't allow the disc to be read or the laser is faulty.
It could be any combination of the above. Time for a new player?

The problem maybe that the drive gear that spins the disc is sticky. I had same problem, take cd unti out remove front facia then remove cradle that locks cd into dash. This give access to 4 screws, remove top lid on cd and temp connect facia and cd back in car load cd and watch to see if it spins up if not spin gently with finger. If it plays ok remove and gently oil between black drive disc and motor. Play cd again hopefully this will resolve problem.
Make sure laser is clean of any oil that may have spun off disc.

If this model displays Wrong Disc even when you play all kinds of CDs, you may want to buy a CD/DVD laser cleaner for it.

MOST LIKELY IT SOUNDS LIKE THE MOTOR THAT SPINS THE DISC - NEEDS REPLACING
