Buy a universal USB cord which has many different connecting ends. Easily available in electronic shops. Connect USB 2.0 to the pendrive and the other end to JBL IPOD dock
I have had then same exact problem, except I had an ihome. I've done research on it for a way to fix it. basically what I have come to find is that the plug for the ipod is just cheaply made, and that there is basically no easy and cheap fix for it. However as long as you have an aux-in you can just simply avoid the problem by buying an eighth inch to eighth inch cord so that you can just simply plug you ipod into the aux-in. As long as you have the ipod plugged into the the aux-in, and aux mode is selected, it should play your music while charging.
The JBL Onstage Micro is supposed to disable recharging of the iPod when running off AAA batteries to avoid draining them, but sometimes this setting gets stuck even when the unit is plugged in through the AC adaptor. The workaround that I found is pulling out and reconnecting the iPod to the Onstage Micro (while both are powered on) and then unplugging and reconnecting the AC adaptor. Sometimes you have to repeat this process, but the iPod should start recharging after that. I tried it on the new 5th generation nano and this seems to work.

If your 120v unit is not marked for use with 220-240v and you plugged it into such a socket (even once), you probably fried the AC adapter and will need to get a replacement.
It will actually work, however,
you will not be able to dock the iPod® Nano into the JBL On Stage™.
You can connect the audio in cable to the headphone jack of your iPod. That's the only way, hope this helps. Pls rate solution. Thanks!!
