Sounds like you have it on zoom setting. Go to the picture menu and scroll through the options. Start with 16:9 and try others if this doesn't work. If you've already tried this, you may have to go into screen setting and manually draw the picture in horizontally and vertically - but make sure you've got it on 16:9 and paused on a typical picture before you mess around with these settings.
Hi, Don't put screen in direct sun light or bright light. Bright lights will destroy LCD screen. The LCD screen has some adjustments on back. You might be able to readjust picture brightness.
Good luck.
Yes there is but you have to get into the service menu and its a risky business to go there without knowledge of these adjustment. In any case these adjust would be called vsize, vpos.Any local repairman should be able to fix that in 5mins. good luck

No. Aspect Ratio is same for UAE and India, and also the broadcast System.
Most Cable TV operators in India broadcast the signal 'slightly oversized, and so the viewer gets the Scrolling at the bottom and top of the screen cut-off.
This is a defect in the vertical scan amplifier. It is not an adjustment. Most of the time there are a number of capacitors in the vertical deflection amplifier that can cause this type of fault. Sometimes the output drive IC can cause this fault, but more rarely.
An experienced service tech can locate the defective parts and replace them. The average time involved is about 1 to 1.5 hours.
Usually when the vertical starts shrinking slowly, it is due to capicators getting out of tolerance in the vertical output section of the chassis. If it can be adjusted out through a service menu, you'll probably need a tech with the right equipment to perform it.
