I am sure its will start working. If not then make sure your batter Is properly fixed inside in the mouse & that's fully charged. After those thing if still not working then visit service center, because the mouse censer stop working and its damaged.

The V220 is a quite nice rodent, my favorite. Check 3 things.
1) Is the battery facing the right way? Minus end goes in first. Green LED should turn on for a few seconds after the battery is installed.
2) Is the mouse ON? The switch under the mouse is supposed to turn on automatically when the receiver is removed. This does not always work.
3) Unplug the USB Receiver. Connect it to a different USB port. Run the Logitech Connect utility.
If the mouse still does not work, uninstall the Setpoint software and reboot. It is possible that the driver did not install correctly. After reboot, try Step 3 again.
Setpoint software is only needed if you want to use the wheel click or horizonal scroll features.
If all else fails, try installing your V220 on a different computer.

How to synchronize Logitech® Cordless Mouse to Receiver?
The term 'synchronize' refers to connecting a non-Bluetooth wireless device with its receiver. In the case of the Logitech® Cordless Mouse it uses a 2.4GHz Micro-Receiver that does NOT have a connect button for synchronizing/connecting the mouse. This is because the mouse and receiver are pre-synchronized at the factory. If the mouse and receiver ever lose connection for some reason, there is a utility, called the Connection Utility that will re-establish the synchronization between the device and its receiver. SetPoint 2.40 or higher is required in order to use this utility. You can download SetPoint and the Connection Utility from www.logitech.com. It is suggested that you save the file(s) to the Windows desktop or somewhere you can find them easily. If you have already installed Setpoint 2.4x, the Connection Utility will be located on your hard drive at the following location:
C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPoint\logitechconnect.exe or click on Start/Program/Logitech/connect utility
In order to use the Connection Utility, please double click the Connection Utility icon and then follow these instructions. Please note that a message stating "To connect your device, press the connect/reset button on the bottom of the device" may appear during this process. Disregard this message and do the following:
Connect receiver to the USB port on your PC
Put a charged battery in the Logitech® Cordless Mouse
Run the Connection Utility (logitechconnect.exe)
Click the mouse left button and keep it pressed until told to release it in the following steps
Press the reset/power button under the mouse briefly (do not hold the button as it will turn the mouse off.)
Click the right mouse button 5 times
Release the left mouse button
The Logitech® should be resynchronized with the receiver within a few seconds.
