Deleting files I am trying to delete files on My Spiderman PS2 game. I somehow saved levels under the wrong filename and now my successfully completed levels are under different files. Is there a way that I can delete all files and start the game completely over? I now know how I should have saved my completed levels. Thanks for your quick response.

If you turn your PS2 on without a disk you can go right to your memory card and delete any files on it.

When someone turns on a PS2 and when they try to load the memory card when it says Corrupted file what does that mean?

This means that the file they are trying to load from became damaged somehow. It likely became damaged by ejecting the game or turning off the PS2 while the game was saving to the file. There is no way to fix a corrupted file, and you will just have to delete it.

If it is happening to every file on the memory card, the memory card may be broken. There is again no way to fix this, but to try and delete every file on the memory card.

Memory card reads saved data, but will not save games...

if the specific game save data is corrupted while saving(turn off the system while saving or electricity goes off) it can happen.

simply start the system without any disc in it, got to browser, u can see memory card , go inside it you can see the save files try to delete the files and the system config file also. if you cannot delete the it is done using 3rd party software which u can buy it in the websites

thank you

Memory Card Corrupted

you cannot save another file until you delete previous one.Corruption occurs if the memory card is removed from console or if you reset the game while saving or loading game remember this also happens when you are saving or loading game and electricity turns off.

Deleting corrupted data on ps2 meory card

Those Memory Max memory cards for PS2 ****, go get real PS2 memory cards. But the reason it has corrupted was it being turned off while saving, you have to delete the corrupted files and it will work again.

I am trying to delete the saved files on professor layton and the curious village as i want to give it to someone for a christmas presnt. Could you help please/

Load a save file you want to delete. Hit save on the same slot, and then eject the game while it's saving. Load the game again, it'll give you a message saying it corrupted a file and was deleted. Do the same for the remaining files, this doesn't erase your own file.

It worked for me hope it works for you too.
