Ps3 freeze hi.. i just boght the rockband game and everytime i play it, the whole system freezes. I tried a couple of time to play throught the game, bt the same thing happens. After a few times of restarting the system, once i trned it on again, the tv just shows a black welcome screen.. what to do now??

Hi,
look on Sonys website for patches et,c.
Sometimes they launch games, and realise that theres glitches.
they then create patch-files which you can usually download, to update your console.
if this does,nt work. then you,ve possibly got a faulty game.

Since i got assassins creed my ps3 was freezing a lot
Oh dear, i'm afraid to say you've got one of the 'fatal' error codes. The error you're encountering means there is a major problem with the blu-ray drive (you're PS3 is pretty much shot)...sad.gif

The only thing you can do is ring Sony's tech support and arrange for a replacement console. If you are still under their one year warranty, you will get a replacement console free of charge

or if your console still works just dont play that game
if it keeps freezeing its becuse of the blu-ray driver :( you would need to try setting it to factory def's or if that does'nt work try rolling back the firmware upgrades........or just buy a xbox 360..

Ps3 40 freezes everytime i try to play ninja gaiden sigma.

Ps3 keeps freezing on games only
Try using a can of air to blow out the fan area. Even though its well ventilated it may be full of dust. It sounds like an overheating issue. Also look into aftermarket fan/cooling solutions, that dont plug directly into the PS3 and have there own outlet power plug.

A specific game freezes at the same point everytime and i have made sure that all the other games work and the disc that freezed is cleaned and has no smudges or scratches on it. My ps3 freezes everytime...
Either Your video board does not have enough resources and the game freezes at that point, or the software has been badly written in the beginning.

Freezing
you have dust build up brother. take a can of dust off and while the system is running pulse some air throught the front vents. you should see gobs of brown dust flying out the back....you system is freezing because its overheating(is that an oxymoron?) good luck!
