How to change a lamp in a samsung HL56a650c1fxza television

You don't have to worry about parts. They are very hard to find.

It sounds that the lamp inverter board has damaged. Replace it.

First thing to do if DLP is remove and inspect the lamp--if shattered or the central glass pillar inside is warped it may be your problem.

In cases like this I try to see from openings near the lamp if it comes on for a moment and then goes off.

Also try to verify if the fans come on at all.

Lastly---if the set before failing was making a fan like or high pitched whine or even a grinding noise a color wheel is possible and common on this model.

Mine is doing the same... anyone find a solution?

Shorted circuit board is the cause.

I am having the same problem with mine. Did you find a solution? How much did it cost.

You dont have to reset timer on this model after replacing Lamp.

Does these LED indicator lights that blinks?It is one of the LED light said lamp or bulb?The tv been used alots,and it at lest 2 years.U have not change the tv lamp or bulb to this tv?Change it,life of the lamp it over.

I would suggest replacing the Lamp

order the lamp by calling 1-800-726-7864 (1-800-SAMSUNG) The lamp is on the back left of the TV ..... not too hard to replace
