Hi i have a dwf30 for some reason all the items are coming out with lots of grease marks on them the tablet pops out ok as you can hear it but everything seems as if its not been rinsed out i thought it might be the heating element for the water as everything is cold and wet still any ideas as im not sure weather to go and bye a new one or just repair this one depending on cost

Is there any strange rumbling or moaning coming from the drum ??? if so the oil and greace may be from the back bearing due to the bearing oil seal becoming faulty allowing water through to the bearings

As you know, the front and rear brakes are independent of each other ... engaging the front has no impact on the rear and vice versa. Is your disc drilled? When I apply the front brakes on my bike, I can hear the noise generated as the pads pass over the holes in the disc ... could that be what you are hearing?
Amazon.com sells the descaling tablets as well as the cleaning tablets, Miele brand. Search on "Miele tablets" for example. Third party (non Miele) tablets are available but you might not want to risk using those in your $3K machine. If you search on "food grade grease" you can find a small tube of it that sells for about $8.
Do you hear the motor run or is there deadly silence when you select drain.
Does the wash cycle start - do you hear water getting in and washer arms move?
Are there any lights flashing?
how old is the machine... 9 times out of 10 when there is grease deposits, the tranny is starting to go, and throwing grease in the machine. Happens with all washers near the end of their life.
Take an look behind you front wheels,turn in your wheel,and turn off the car,there rubber boots that cover your CV joints,if they are crack,you will see grease/oil.when the cv joints go bad thats the sound your hearing.
IF YOU ARE TURNING HARD THEN GREASE YOUR STEERING STOPS
you will see a wear mark on the knuckle and lower control arm just wipe some grease on these spots
you can plumb into hot but there are some snags first hot water pressure is often a lot lower than cold so the machine may take a long time to fill second if the water is too hot it will destroy the resin of the water softener and you will see brown marks on the crockery. third it a bit uneconomical as you will use a lot of hot water
