syphon the gas out,tip it up so whats left will not come out of the hole for the shut off,unbolt the shut off and it should be part number,ETQ 17150,,,or whats on the pic

You know you have ignition. It isn't getting correct fuel. CHeck fuel to carb. If confirmed fuel to carb, carb is not adjusted properly.

A lot small ignition spark appears to be weak when they are not.

A couple things to check. make sure your spark arrestor is clean and your ignition timing is correct; otherwords, that the flywheel key is not sheared.

sounds like it could be a weak ignition coil.

Check that the GFI receptical is not tripped
Check that there are no blown fuses or tripped breakers
Verify that the engine is running at full RPM
If there is still no output, then either the field needs to be flashed (look on line to find a video on how to do this - YouTube), or the generator will need further diagnostics.

The exhaust will be located on the output side of the cylinder manifold.
