GE Wall Oven Model # JKP07G0D2BG - The clock has quit working. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I assume the display for the clock/timer is now blank. If the oven is still working the only thing you are missing is the clock. If you can't do without it you will need a new clock.
Most of the time the clock/timer stops working it affects the operation of the oven, the oven won't work. If this is the case you will need a new timer unless you can do without the clock/timer. If so a repairman should be able to bypass the clock with ease so that the oven will operate without the clock/timer.

My Maytag oven was shut off when a breaker was tripped. We turned everything back on however the clock says " 5ab" and none of the buttons work to reset the clock. Without this function, we can't...

That is the sabbath feature, to get it or defeat it:

1. Push the PREHEAT pad and set the oven
temperature to 500°F/260°C or more using the UP
ARROW pad.
2. Push the PREHEAT pad within the next 2 seconds
for 3-4 seconds. A beep sounds and a number
appears in red to the right of the display. For the
conversion, "3" must be displayed. If another number
is displayed, push the PREHEAT pad and select
"3".
3. Push the UP or DOWN ARROW pad to change
from 12 hour to 9999 in the display, for no 12 hour
shut-off.
4. Push the CANCEL pad to confirm your choice.

Fan stuck on, door locked

Hello,"If actual over temperature condition occurred"
Look for welded relay contacts. If this happens, replace oven control (also called clock or ERC).
IF NO OVER TEMPERATURE condition occurred: Look for high resistance connection or any other cause of high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit.Check sensor, sensor harness and sensor harness connection at sensor and oven control .Replace sensor if found defective.Check door lock switches.
REMEMBER: Oven control (ERC) measures resistance of sensor circuit, not actual oven temperature.

Thanks

I have a 40 year old Tappan electric wall oven. It has an analog clock with 3 timers on it (2 small timer...stop and start and a large timer with 3 hands on it). Which position do the timers need to be for...

I have one of these too. the TOP small clock should be set to the time you want the oven to start and the BOTTOM small clock should be set to the time you want it to turn off. Be sure to set the oven settings to what you want and the correct temperature.

Try testing it first just to see if it works correctly. It's also important to make sure the other large clock on the oven is set correctly.

Oven will not heatup

  1. Make sure the controls are set properly: that the oven selector switch is set correctly and that the temperature switch is set to the desired temperature. Where applicable, make sure the oven timer is set to manual.
  2. If nothing else on the Range, Oven or Cooktop is working then Check the fuse
  3. Test the oven elements
  4. Test the oven thermostat
  5. Test the oven selector switch.
or
  • Check timer and clock settings
  • Reseat the element
  • Test the element
  • Test the element connectors
  • Test the oven temperature control
  • Test the oven selector control
