Hi, hope this will help you with your problem. There are steps to 'change' the visual effects of the "Display." 1. Right click on "Desktop,” click Personalize, click, Display Settings. 2. Identify, Monitor used? 3. Down (arrow) select Monitors' graphics . 4. Adjust, (low>high) resolution. 5. Select, Colors (16 bit>32bit), etc. 6. Click, Advanced Settings, click Properties ("check device status"). 7. Update Drivers (only if, necessary?) 8. Click on "List All Modes" select valid (modes) for the monitor. Note: Always click on the 'Apply', and 'OK' buttons after application changes for the process to take effect. 9. Restart "Computer.” *Next go, to: Screen Saver, in the Screen Saver Settings change 'Power' settings. *Next go, to: Start Menu, click on Product Name: (Toshiba), click 'Utilities' click, Toshiba Assist, click 'Optimize' click, "Display"; change power on display. *Next go, to Control Panel, in Mobile PC, click; "Adjust commonly used mobility settings" (changes the following); Display brightness, and Connect Display. “Did this solution help?”
