Have you had a power surge or power go out when the machine was running-----electronics go coo coo when this happens---it may be resolved by unplugging the dryer for a couple of days---then plug it back in & see if it does it again----another issue if the electronics get wet some how roof leak spilled water/fluid--hose replaced on washer which is usually next to the dryer---also check your owners manual to see if this is an issue do to a malfunction of electronics sending a code to check for an issue--that's all I dream up for now--sorry I couldn't do better
The beeping is usually caused by the Flyback transformer and HOT transistor. You can get the 239111 flyback and HOT repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com
With your PS3 turned off, press and hold the Power button on the front
of the PS3 for about 10 seconds (the system will beep as normal as it
starts up but after 7-10 seconds it will beep again). The video
settings should now be reverted. Doing this will also reset any theme
settings. might be a video setting that is bad.
If it's more than 3 years old, you probably need new batteries.
If the beep started after plugging anything additional into the UPS, you may be in an overload state, and the beep is telling you that it's choosing to beep and not function as intended rather than smoking itself. Try unplugging a piece or two from it and see if the beep goes away. If not, probably just you're batteries giving out due to old age, they'll only give you 3-5 years.
"First beep it turns on second beep nothing and third beep turns off.will not reset."
Your friends are wrong, pressing the button at the front of the console only turns the console on and off. If the problem doesnt change then contact the sony customer helpline.
I would verify that the battery will take a charge. If the battery is bad, the charger will tell you that it is not charged. It will not tell you why, just that it is not charged. If not plugged into the computor, again, battery is not charged. Hence, the beep.
Beeping in that model usually refers to the flyback needing to be replaced or the Horizontal output transistor. Flyback is most likely the cause as the HOTransistor will usually blow a fuse causeing the set to be dead.
