Have you tried simple answers like 1111, or 1234, etc? If so, I believe you can reset the system settings in Settings>System Settings>Reformat System Settings, or something or other.
To reset password go to settings select system settings then restore default settings.
After doing this your P.S.P will reboot and to change your password click on change password then a screen will appear asking your old password.your old password will be 0000.Now type the new password.
Go to your Settings, System Settings, and click on Restore default settings. Doing this resets everything to factory settings. Don't worry, it ONLY resets settings. It won't delete anything on your Memory Stick. This feature resets your nicknames, any passwords, and along with Flash player and WMA playback. This will work. When you are done, it will be as if you just got your PSP. Your data will still be intact. However, if you're talking about not knowing the password on your Wi-fi network, then you'll have to contact the provider.
On a brand new psp the default internet password is either 1234 or admin. Try and see if it works or you need to contact their support team as this is a manufacturer specific query.
in order to get rid of the password, you must first go to the "Settings" icon all the way on the left.
than scroll through that menu until you find the "System Settings" button.
Than scroll through that menu until you find the "Restore Default Settings" button. If you click on that, your password will disappear and you can type in a new one.
After you reset the PSP, you will have to type in the date, timezone, time, and PSP name all over again.
If there is still a password on the PSP after you reset it, it should be 0000. Be sure to change it to something you remember =]
Well good luck. I hope i helped. If not, let me know.
