Can I extend my internet range with a netgear & a Belkin router

I have got a Belkin F5D8636-4 v2 router and it's not giving me enough range. I tried different channels, but no joy. Can I use this somehow with my Netgear DG834G v3 router to extend the range?

DG834G is a modem/router, it is not a range extender that could extend the range of the wireless signal from the Belkin router.

For best results, you should connect it directly to the other router with an ethernet cable.
