Manual for your board:

http://www.machspeed.com/manuals/VIPER/K8M8MSR1A.pdf

If you see pages 36-37, looks like there is some driver software from manufacturer for VIA AGPVCD

Also looks like some drivers here:

Not sure what you mean by a program to start your video card. You can configure it through Windows control panel, or driver software (often still accessed through the control panel).

How to setup a Wireless Network

1. <b>Connect Your Wireless Router</b> <br /><b>a.</b> Power off your cable modem and your wired PC.<br /><b>b.</b> Unplug the Ethernet cable from your cable/DSL modem and plug it into one of the LAN ports on the back of the wireless router. Leave other end of the cable connected to your PC.<br /><b>c.</b> Connect another Ethernet cable between your modem's Ethernet port and the wireless router's WAN port. (The WAN port should be separate from the other grouped LAN ports.)<br /><b>d.</b> Power on the modem and watch for the status lights to indicate that it's connected to your Internet service. This may take a minute or so.<br /><b>e.</b> Plug in the router. The status lights will blink as it runs through its diagnostics; this may also take a minute or so.<br /><b>f.</b> Start up your wired PC.<br />2. <b>Configure your Wireless Router</b><br /><b>a.</b> Refer to the router's quick-start guide, launch Internet Explorer, and type in the address indicated in the guide.<br /><b>b.</b> Follow the on-screen setup wizard, which will guide you through the process step by step.<br /><b>c.</b> Enable your router's security functions. This is very important if you don't want other people attaching to your wireless signal. The options will be WEP and WPA. Both will ask you to enter a key. Depending on the router's manufacturer, you may have to go into Advanced Settings to accomplish this step.<br /><b>d.</b> Change the default administrator's password, Almost all hackers know them.<br /><b>e.</b> Change the SSID-the name of your wireless network. Again, hackers know many of the default SSIDs and can use them to hack your network.<br />3. <b>Install a Wireless PCI Card in a Desktop PC</b> <br /><b>a.</b> Refer to the card manufacturer's quick-start guide. If necessary, run the software installation program.<br /><b>b.</b> Power down the PC.<br /><b>c.</b> Remove the cover.<br /><b>d.</b> Find an available PCI slot and remove the slot cover from the back of the PC.<br /><b>e.</b> Carefully insert the antenna through the open slot in the back of the PC, carefully push the card in the slot, and secure it. Replace the cover. <br /><b>f.</b> Start up the PC. It should recognize and install the new PCI card.<br /><b>g.</b> Go to the Control Panel, select Network connections, select Wireless Networking connection. Click on Properties button. Click on Wireless Networking tab. Select the wireless networking name (see step 2e). Click on Configure button. Configure your security settings to match the ones on your wireless router.<br />4. <b>Install a Wireless PC Card in a Notebook PC</b> <br />Many notebooks have built-in wireless cards. However, If yours doesn't, you can install either a USB wireless adapter or a wireless PC card just follow these instructions.<br /><b>a.</b> Refer to the card manufacturer's quick-start guide. If necessary, run the software installation program.<br /><b>b.</b> Power down the PC.<br /><b>c.</b> Plug your USB wireless Adapter or wireless PC Card into an available slot on the side of your notebook.<br /><b>d</b>. A problem caused theprogram to stop working correctly. Windows wi

Your problem is a little hard to say. Have there been any power outtages or has you computer been powered-off rather than the regular shut-down procedure. Windows registry and programs can be thus corrupted.

Also computer viruses can disrupt programs so please run for example
Mcafee's free online anti-virus to rule-out a virus problem.
http://us.mcafee.com/root/campaign.asp?cid=45694

Even if you have an anti-virus installed, it needs to be running the latest virus definitions.

You could also try in programs accesories system tools to select "system restore" and bring back your computer to a date where you understand the problem was not happening. (Try this one last)

Acer 22 in monitor

From what you say, I'll assume you see stuff on the monitor like the BIOS info, and the Windows splash screen. Then it goes black.
This happens when Windows loads the video drivers for your video card. Up until that point, you are using generic VGA drivers. I would guess the drivers are corrupt and the video card just stops working when it tries to access them.
You'll need new drivers for your card (you'll need to determine that--you can ask me directly by clicking on my name if you need help there). Then you'll need to start your computer in safe mode and remove the video card from the device manager. Depending on the directions you have for your video card, you may have to tell the computer not to install drivers when you restart your computer, but run the install program first.

Normal 0 Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.

Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.

A. Skype Setup:

After downloading and installing Skype set it up as follows:

  1. Go to TOOLS, then OPTIONS, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
  2. Then click on the Video Settings.
  3. The camera if installed properly will come up and show a picture.
  4. Then on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now see and talk to you.

B. Yahoo Setup:

After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger set it up as follows:

  1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
  2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
  3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
  4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.
