GE JKP15 has error message that indicates we need a new keypad. That was replaced just a few month ago because it had same error message. Whay do our keypads keep messing up?

It's possible that a faulty ERC (Electronic Range Control) could damage a new keypad, but it's not very common. The F7 D6 error code indicates a problem with the communication between the keypad and the ERC. Here are a few other things you could try:

1. Check the ribbon cable connection between the keypad and the ERC. Make sure it is securely connected and not damaged in any way.
2. Try resetting the oven by turning off the power to it for a few minutes, then turning it back on. This may help clear any temporary glitches that are causing the error.

F7 Error indicates a bad control board and the control board (electronic control) should be replaced to solve this issue. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

I had the same oven panel overlay bubbling problem on my GE oven purchased in 2008. It started peeling and bubbling within the 1 yr warranty, and GE sent me a replacement panel. This new part began bubbling again within 4 months. Again, I called but now they say it's out of warranty and they will not replace it. Obviously there's a manufacturing defect in this part. The panel looks terrible. It appears that GE no longer cares about the quality of their products.

If possible i will need the letter that come next after the JKP15.
