Vax infinity 1900 suddenly stopped working now no power gets to it, i've changed fuse still no power.

Most vacuums have thermal protection on the motor that will shut it off if it gets too hot. If you can turn it off, wait 10-15 minutes, and it works when you turn it back on, that's what is going on. Now, the motor shouldn't normally get that hot, so your next challenge is finding out why. Check for any blockages in the air flow or cooling vents, and if the motor also powers something like a beater bar, make certain that it turns relatively freely.

There is no fuse

Make sure you have it set to carpet, other wise not sure

before it stopped working did it smell like burnt rubber at all if so its the belt

All houshold electrical appliances which are constantly moved about eventually stop working due to fatigue. The most likely cause of your problem is the power cord from the wall outlet.
Replace the power cord then check again to see if it turns on.
