visit the above site and download/install the mediamonkey player. it will sort all your music and sync it to your player(you are given a choice of treating the player as a player or a hard disc drive) the just auto sync or manually sync......it's also an excellent alternative to windows media player.........and it's free

Make sure the player is on during charging.

if u have a installer CD with the device then
please install the driver then plug your device
in the connectivity cable.it will recognize

You can use windows xp drivers but as Windows Vista support is ending in feb. 2010 get windows 7 free here.

The NAXA NX-142 came with a miniature CD you must use the CD to install the software called AMV converter to your computer. Then run the AMV converter with the NX-142 plugged into the USB port. You can then convert certain videos like WMV files into AMV files which can be automatically uploaded to the NX-142 be sure to choose to upload the videos into the MOVIED subdirectory to help keep things organized on the NX-142 The AMV converter will allow certain settings to be selected. The manual is helpful but the printing is so small that I can't read it even with glasses.

go to your local audio store they should be able to order you one or google what you need.

I would first plug the unit into the computer and make sure that the unit is fully charged. After that, check to make sure that there are folders, with content (mp3s, videos or pictures) to make sure that the unit has something to load in the first place. If there are and the files don't exceed the maximum capacity of the unit you are most probably dealing with a defective unit. I bought my naxa mp3 player from jujudeals.com so it comes with a 30 day warranty, however I'm pretty sure that the unit itself comes with a 90 day manufacturers warranty, in which case you would have to contact naxa. Either way, you probably shouldn't worry, just get it replaced.

I only see an update on Naxa's website for a NX-122 and NX-196, so the 134 may not be Vista compatible. Some manufacturers updated SOME of their players to be Vista compatible, but not others. To be absolutely sure, I would e-mail them at [email protected]. I just shot them one myself - I'll see if they respond.
