Take off the round rubbers that are covering the screws. There should be 4 screws on top and 4 screws on the bottom. There might be stuff covering the screws, if so take the covers off.

Once you have all 8 of the screws exposed, unscrew all the screws from the lcd bezel. After you get all the screws off then you might need a flathead screwdriver to get the lcd bezel off, put it in a area of the screen and twist the screwdriver to get the bezel to unsnap, you may have to do this in a few areas. Then you should be able to get the bezel off.

Once you do this there will be two screws on the left bottom and two screws on the right bottom. Take off those screws and it will release the lcd back cover. Now at this point you'll be able to get to the screws that are holding the lcd in place on the left hand side and the right hand side. Take off those screws and the screen will become loose, take off the lcd cable from the back of the lcd and you'll now be able to completely remove the lcd.

Once you do that put the new lcd in and put the screws back on the left and right hand side of the lcd. Then connect the lcd cable to the lcd. At this point put the lcd back cover on and put back the 4 screws that are holding it in. Now put on the front lcd bezel and put all 8 of the screws back into it.

At this point turn on the laptop and you should get video.

I already change the adapter but same result.

If your adapter is ok, the most possible problem is that your laptop dc power jack. So you may check it out. Either replace it or get it repaired.

Sound card problems with Sigmatel High Definition Audio codec in Dell Latitude D430

This sounds like it may be a bad connection to the speaker or the speaker is failing. Either way you will need to open the case to get to the speaker and check that there is no issue with the motherboard connection. As the motherboard gets hot it expands and then contracts again when the system cools. This can cause issues with solder joints. Otherwise, you'll probably need to fit a new speaker.

I'd suggest you invested in a portable hard drive for your data at a tenth the price you could get a 100GB drive

I want to reset BIOS password for Dell Latitude D430 laptop. hash code is #9s6vfbx

To reset the BIOS read the information from this link.

In case of your Dell Latitude laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.

The laptop screen is almost blank/black. an external monitor is working ok. when i close the lid of the laptop and open it again the screen comes on for a sec but then goes off again almost blank/black....

As per Dell Technical support LCD kit needs to be Replaced.

I Would recommend to
Run PSA Diagnostics. Check for PSA Error codes

if unable see display during PSA Diagnostics use External monitor to make note of Error code.

Check Error code on support.dell.com

If no Error codes. Then Only option is replace LCD kit
