Remove the handle and it will be a dial to remove and reinsert maybe a 1/4 turn counter clockwise to increae hot. just remember where you started at and adjust accordingly. Just put handle on turn on and see if it's at desired temp.

It should be a dial that may look like a little gear that will slide off and allow you to adjust tep.

Adjusting Apollo hot water tank

I am not sure what you are asking, But i am going to assume that you want to know about changing the Temp on the heater for inside the house.
If the floor heat was installed properly than it should have a temperture manifold or adjustable thermostat for seperate heating.
You need to find the thermostat or manifold for the garage heat and set it at what ever temp you want the garage to stay at.
Then you can change the A B C knob to a higher setting A is cold B is warm ac is hot. So Increase your temp setting on the heater and this will increase your house water temp for hotter showers and faucet temps. However, they recommend not setting the temp above 120 degrees to prevent severe burns.
If you have a newer home increasing the Hot water heater temp setting may not change the temp at the shower or faucets if you have scald guard faucets installed in the house. This will require adjusting the scald guard valves on each faucet.
I recommend using a candy thermometer or digital thermometer to check the faucet and shower Temp prior to using them and make sure that you inform everyone in the house after you change the temp so that no one gets scalded.
I hope this answers you question, feel free to contact me if you need more help!

Adjust anti-scald delta B114900

Adjusting the anti scald is pretty simple on this device. Attached is a photo of breakdown for this. Basically, unscrew the labeled part to access a very small black rubber gasket. Remove the black gasket to gain access to the anti scald part. You have have to use needle nose pliers to remove the black gasket but it does come off. Once you have this part off, you will see the two parts (with teeth like a wheel) that will adjust the hot water levels. Remove the part on top and turn the little "handle" clockwise towards "3'oclock" to make the water hotter. The part itself will not allow you to go past "3 oclock" for safety reasons. adjust-anti-scald-delta-b114900-ucghvzot5faznyh4jdqs4e5n-4-0.jpg

We have a Moen shower valve in our motor home and we are not getting any hot water. It has worked fine for the sence it was new. It;s a 2007

Assuming that you have hot water everywhere else my thoughts are that you have a small bit of rust, sediment or other foreign matter in the control cartridge. It's possible that the scald guard feature of the faucet has slipped so it's not allowing hot water to get thru. Either way if you purchased this new moen will provide replacement parts free.If you are mechanically inclined you can perform these repairs yourself and save significantly.Last time I checked the cartridge, scald guard balancing valve are all one part and cost about ninty bucks. Prepare to be patient and call 1-800-BUY-MOEN. You will need the model number, approx. age and explanation of your problem.Good luck. Hope this is of some help to you. Thanks.P:S they will generally provide installation, adjustment instructions and trouble shooting tips if you ask.

& Single Handle Shower Faucet : how to adjust to get hotter water...

First step remove handle and behind it there is a dial that looks like a gear. Mark where it is and remove it and put back in about a 1/4 to 1/8 turn counter clockwise to increase to hotter temp.

These faucets are equiped with anti scald setting's to protect the public and preset for this reason.

Moen T910 Kingsley two handle, whirlpool tub faucet. The hot water handle only puts out lukewarm water. The water heater is turned up and all the other faucets in the house put out scalding hot water.

if you remove the hot water handle on the faucet you can adjust the stop. if it is a newer faucet it has a built in scold guard. the directions should tell you which direction to move the stop to get hotter water

My delta 132900 gets too hot.

With these Faucets, you can remove the handle and make adjustments to the max Hot water setting (scald guard).

You may also have a faulty or lime-covered cartridge.

SEE THIS SITE for making adjustments/replacing the cartridge.

Water is warm not hot. How do i adjust the scorch guard?

Here is the breakdown of the model number shown:

Delta T13420

The way to adjust the temperature is by this:

  1. Get a pocket thermometer.
  2. Turn on the water to the hottest setting.
  3. Remove handle.
  4. Check the temperature with the thermometer. (adjust to your liking, scald begins above 100 f)
  5. Set temperature by removing and rotating the plastic piece just below the handle left or right until the desired temperature is achieved.
  6. Replace handle.
This should do it.

Hope this helps and please rate this!
